Why study arts at Colorado State University?

Whether you want to be in the spotlight for the lead in the musical, become a museum curator or manage events, Colorado State University has programs that lead to whichever artistic avenue you take. You can find many ways to get arts experience before you graduate either on-campus or in Denver.

In additon to performing arts, CSU’s liberal arts college offers 19 majors and 54 concentrations. A liberal arts degree broadens your career options when you graduate, because instead of focusing on just one area, you see how different subjects influence how you approach your main field of study.

  • 250 performances and exhibitions take place every year at CSU’s 225,000 square-foot University Center for the Arts.
  • CSU has two on-campus museums: the Gregory Allicar Museum of Art and the Avenir Museum of Design and Merchandising.
  • Our LEAP institute for the arts stands for leadership, entrepreneurships, arts, advocacy and the public. If you’re interested in event management, production, arts policy or arts law, you can earn a minor or master’s in arts leadership and cultural management.
